Naw - Master's in Health Economics, Policy and Management
Naw is a former international student and digital ambassador at Karolinska Institutet (KI).
Hej! I’m Naw from Myanmar (aka Burma). Currently studying the Master’s in Health Economics, Policy & Management, and I will be your new blogger from now on!
Prior to Karolinska Institutet (KI), I completed my first degree in Myanmar and I am a qualified medical doctor. I then pursued a MSc in Clinical Dermatology at University of Hertfordshire in the UK which was then followed by an executive learning program known as the “SouthEast Asia Leadership – SEAL” at Harvard Medical School.
I decided on KI because of its amazing reputation around the globe as one of the most respected medical institutes in the world. Not only am I proud to be a KI student, but I also feel lucky to have received the honourable scholarship award from the Swedish Institute (SI).
What I love doing most in my free time is reading books. Another one, like most people, is using social media such as Facebook and Instagram, so, I am very much into this blogger position. Most of my friends describe me as a shy person, especially with strangers, but this is soon to be a distant history as I’m slowly turning into a talkative person. I love collecting jumping photos of myself at various landmark places.
