The schedules will be published on Canvas no later than two weeks before the start of the course. You will be able to access Canvas once you are admitted to the programme.

Yes, if you don´t attend you will not be registered to the course. Admitted students who fail to register for studies at KI within the prescribed time, i.e. mandatory sessions, forfeit their place on the course/study programme.

The autumn semester formally stops in the middle of January. Karolinska Institutet doesn´t have any winter break, but the national holidays in December and in the beginning of January are lesson free. When you start the program you can contact the course leader and ask for the preliminary schedule for Christmas time. For KI semester dates see the Academic calendar.

When you are admitted you will get information to your private e-mail address about how to activate your student account, log in to the web and so on. If you have not received the information around course start contact the KI University library.

No. The program is a regular program (not distance) and held at Karolinska Institutet, Solna and Stockholm University, Sweden.

If you have special reasons for why you can´t come this year you can apply for deferral of studies. Please Contact KI Admission Office.
