Union membership

Since 1 July 2010 students studying at a higher education institution are no longer obliged to join a student union.

However, student unions continue to have the right to be represented in university or university college decision-making bodies.

At KI there are two student unions - The Medical Student Union (MF) and The Dental Student Union (OF). If you choose to join, you must join the one that the unions agree upon. The unions are entitled to charge a membership fee.
