Teresa - Master’s in Health Economics, Policy and Management

Hi everyone! I’m Teresa, from Portugal, and I’m part of the Instagram team. I grew up in Lisbon, where I started my bachelor’s programme, which led me to study in two other countries: Norway and South Korea. My 6 months on Norway made me fall in love with Scandinavia, and when I discovered health economics in Korea, it was crystal clear to me that Karolinska was my one and only option for my master’s programme!

I am now in the second year of the Master’s Programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management, and my time at KI has been everything I could have hoped for and more! KI has provided me with so many good friends and memories, and it has also made me realise my passion for research, which I hope to pursue in the future!

In my free time, I love to go on sunset walks, swims, read books, and hang out with my friends. I also have a great passion for writing and photography, which I try to fit into my busy schedule every chance I get!

Finally, a fun fact about me is that I have had over 100 cats in my life (although I’m not really a cat person) and all of them have had non-conventional names (such as Mother, Shoulder or Power Bank)!
