Yuyang Miao - Master's in Biomedicine

While doing a one-year-internship in a hospital, Yuyang found therapeutic strategies for diseases to be very limited, with a lot of questions to still be understood and explored. Luckily, she got an offer to Karolinska Institutet’s Master’s in Biomedicine, and is ready to learn more.

She is looking forward to learning more about translational medicine and would like to dive into scientific research. She hopes to gain new skills as well as exploring new strategies to cure diseases and improve longevity and quality of patients’ lives.

She would like to be a doctor and researcher in the future, combining clinical experience and scientific research methods to explore specific mechanisms and new therapeutic methods of diseases.

In her free time, she enjoys making Chinese tea and she could spend a whole afternoon tea-tasting.
