Outcomes

Goal:
To perform a written litteratureanalysis from a question formalation and connect to occupational therapy/occupational science

Learning outcomes
The student should on completion of the course be able to

  • Perform an litteratureanalysis from a question formulation.
  • Connect the litteratureanalysis to ocuppational therapy/occupational science.
  • Present, value and critically discuss possible conclusions from the literatureanalysis.
  • Identify, value and critically reflect upon regarding etical dilemmas upon litterature

Content

Individual studies in combination with supervision. No compulsory attendance.

Teaching methods

Teaching methods
A problem based pedagogical approach where the way of working gives the student the possibility to take active responsibility for the own learning process.
The student will have access to approx. 2 hrs of supervision as needed. The course is english.

Examination

The examination assignment is a individual written paper with relevant question/topic connected to occupational therapy/occupational science of the students own choice.

Students who do not pass a regular examination are entitled to re-sit the examination on five occasions more.

Transitional provisions

The course has been cancelled and was offered for the last time in the autumn semester of 2020. The course has been replaced with another, and examination will be provided according to the guidelines in the syllabus for 1EE112.

Other directives

The course will be evaluated in accordance with the guidelines established by the Board of Education, Karolinska Institutet.
The course will not be credited in a degree together with another course the student has completed and passed which completely or partly corresponds to the contents of this course.
