Specific entry requirements
-A very good command of English or a very good command of Swedish.
-At least two years of study at a study programme in Radiography or equivalent.
Outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should:
- On the basis of the main field of study radiography, delimit a research problem and formulate a research question
- Apply scientific methodology and design of a literature review in the research process
- Show ability to independent, critical and creative thinking
- Be able to write a research oriented report in a scientific language
- Be able to present a scientific work
Content
Planning, carrying-out and presentation of a research project within radiography. The project is chosen in consultation with a supervisor. The project can be carried out independent or in cooperation, and use the design of an literture study. The project will be presented written and oral.
Teaching methods
Superwised independent written work.
The examiner assesses, and if so, how absence from compulsory educational elements can be taken again. Before the student has participated in the compulsory educational elements or has taken absence in accordance with the examiner's instructions, the study results cannot be finalized. Absence from a compulsory educational element may mean that the student cannot take the occasion until the next time the course is given.
Examination
Written and oral presentation of report.
The student who does not pass the course at the first examination opportunity will be offered a new examination opportunity at a later time, by agreement with the supervisor and the examiner.
Other directives
Teaching in English may occur.
The course may not be credited in the degree at the same time as the completed and approved course, whose content fully or partially corresponds to the content of the course.
