Goal:
To perform a written litteratureanalysis from a question formalation and connect to occupational therapy/occupational science

Learning outcomes
The student should after the course be able to:

Perform an litteratureanalysis from a question formulation.
Connect the litteratureanalysis to ocuppational therapy/occupational science.
Present, value and critically discuss possible conclusions from the literatureanalysis.
Identify, value and critically reflect upon regarding etical dilemmas upon litterature

Content

Introduction to occupational therapy and occupational science through literature search and and analysing.

Literatureanalysis from an occupational perspective, 3.0 credits

A litteratureanalyses from an Occupational perspective

Teaching methods

Individual studies in combination with supervision. No compulsory attendance.
A problem based pedagogical approach where the way of working gives the student the possibility to take active responsibility for the own learning process.
The student will have access to approx. 2 hrs of supervision as needed.

Examination

The examination assignment is a individual written paper with relevant question/topic connected to occupational therapy/occupational science of the students own choice.

Grading scale: Pass with distinction/Pass/Fail.
Students who do not pass a regular examination are entitled to re-sit the examination on five occasions more. If the student has failed a total of six examinations/tests, no additional examination is given. Each occasion the student participates in the same test counts as an examination. Submission of a blank exam paper is regarded as an examination. In case a student is registered for an examination but does not attend, this is not regarded as an examination. Late submissions of examinations are not accepted. Students who have not submitted on time are referred to re-examination.

If special needs exists, or need of adaptation för students with disabilities the examiner can make the desicion to deviate from the syllabus rules regarding form of examination, number of examinations, the possibility to complementary or exceptions from mandatory moments etc. Content and goals for the course and anticipation of skills, knowledge and abilities can´t be changed, removed or lowered.
