Objectives
Learning outcomes
The teaching aims to provide the student with knowledge in anatomy that facilitates the understanding of other subjects within the program.
The student should on completion of the course be able to: explain the macroscopic structure of the organs and organ systems of the human body, their vessel and innervation supply and internal relationships, identify osteological structures, muscles and nerves of the trunk, the throat and the head, and the leg and the arm with an emphasis on surface anatomic knowledge, apply the functional anatomy in the analysis of normal function, apply the anatomy knowledge in connection with clinical issues concerning physical injuries and strain problems
Anatomy of the nervous system, 1.5 hp
Anatomy of the movement apparatus, part 1-3, 4.5 hp
Anatomy of the inner organs, 1.5 hp
Teaching methods
The teaching comprises lectures and teacher-supervised group assignments with study questions, practical exercises, model studies and preparation demonstrations. In addition to this, the student is expected to acquire a large part of the knowledge through self-study.
Transitional provisions
The course has been cancelled and was offered for the last time in the spring semester of 2014. Examination will be provided until the spring semester of 2021 for students who have not completed the course
