Specific entry requirements
For admission to semester 4, at least the Pass grade is required for all courses from semesters 2-3.
Objectives
At the end of the course, you are expected to: Have knowledge of current hygiene procedures and practically follow these. Be able to understand the interaction between clinical and laboratory procedures concerning the production of prosthetic constructions occurring in the laboratory. Be able to understand relationships between the handling of dental materials in prosthetic constructions and clinical treatment results. Have knowledge of the relationship between the design of the prosthetic construction concerning function, aesthetics and hygiene. be able to apply theoretical and practical knowledge, and have developed the ability to independently produce prosthetic patient works in consultation with the laboratory supervisor. Have developed a self-critical approach to knowledge, skills and working methods.
Content
The course is divided into 3 parts: Workplace training 1, 10.5 HE credits. Workplace training 2, 7.5 HE credits. Workplace training 3, 7.5 HE credits. Orthodontic work according to an individual study plan. Established by the programme committee.

Examination
Passed submitted monthly reports. Passed clinical education (a joint assessment of the supervisor of the placement and the teacher of the department).
