Objectives

The course aims to provide the students with the following skills:

- To understand the concepts of epidemiology.
- To know the concepts and tools of statistics.
- To be able to apply the statistical concepts at health economics.
- To analyze the economic data for health economics.

Content

This module will provide statistical skills including epidemiological concepts and computer analysis of data from health care sector. Here the participants will learn statistical concepts for econometric analysis of health economic resources. They will also learn to operate through statistical software. They will also be able to handle and manage data for decision making. Epidemiological concepts will give them necessary boost for better understanding the health sector scenario.
