After this course, students should have an understanding of the fundamental statistical concepts and tools that are used for data analysis in modern research in molecular life sciences. Both theoretical and practical (hands‐on) components will be included. The course will complement other courses in the Master's programme that have a bioinformatics perspective.

The course will take place between November 2, 2026 - January 17, 2027.

The written examination will held on January 12, 2027.

Approximately 2 weeks before the course starts, students with a course spot will receive an invitation to the learning platform Canvas. In Canvas, you will find all the information and materials needed to prepare for the course. All communication from the course administration will take place in Canvas. Credit Transfer

Student who are admitted and pursuing studies at Karolinska Institutet are entitled to apply for credit transfer for previous education, work experience and other prior learning.
