This course enables students to, under supervision and via independent work, plan and carry out a research or risk assessment-related project within the toxicological field. Welcome to the course!
This course starts on Thursday, December 5 and ends on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
Registration
To take part in the course it is required that you register for the course online in Ladok. Registration is possible from November 28 until December 7. Find out more about online registration here.
Schedule
Examination and compulsory participation
The examination consists of a written report, oral presentation and discussion of the report and oral assessment and feedback of another student's report. The examiner sets the grade after consultation with the supervisor and the examining teacher, based on the student's written report, oral presentation and discussion of the report, assessment and feedback of another student's report as well as work performance.
Compulsary participation
A study visit, seminars, assignment in scientific writing and presentations of degree projects are compulsory. The examiner assesses if, and in that case how, absence can be compensated. Before the student has participated in all compulsory parts or compensated absence in accordance with the examiner's instructions, the student's results for respective part will not be registered. Absence from a compulsory activity may result in that the student cannot compensate the absence until the next time the course is given.
Project placement
The examiner may immediately suspend a student's project placement or equivalent if the student demonstrates serious deficiencies in knowledge, skills or attitudes in a way that trust with the partner may be damaged or broken.
Course evaluation
Course evaluation will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines established by the Board of Education. Course council meeting is held with the course coordinator and student representatives.
