Hi! My name is Grace and I am one of the Facebook ambassadors. I am originally from London in the UK, but I spent the last three years studying Biomedical Science in Maastricht, right in the southern tip of the Netherlands. This combination of Dutch and British culture means that I can drink tea whilst riding a bike, and that I love being in an international environment.

Wanting to be in an international environment was one of the main reasons I came to KI! I knew my future did not lie in the laboratory and so I searched for a way to combine my Biomedical Science degree with business studies. At 23 I am one of the youngest on the Bioentrepreneurship course, but I loved the first year and am excited to get stuck into the internships and thesis that make up the second year.

Outside of my studies, I can be found constantly baking cookies, cakes or brioche. My favourite evenings are when I mix up an 8kg tub of pizza dough and then invite over all my friends to make pizza together. To balance out all the cookie consumption, I am also a really keen climber! I've done climbs I never thought possible, and I've also scraped my arms/legs/face into the wall more times than I want to admit, so it's a healthy balance!
