The ceremony

The graduation ceremony is a solemn closing ceremony for all students graduating from the undergraduate programmes at KI.

One hour before the ceremony starts, the students participate in a dress rehearsal (mandatory) where they are shown how it will be done. When the ceremony starts, the students seat on their reserved seats labelled with their name, in the lower part of the auditorium together with their fellow students.

During the ceremony, students go up on stage in groups and receive an envelope from the President's hand containing a congratulatory greeting (not a diploma), then a group photo is taken when the whole programme has gathered on stage (a link for ordering the photo is sent out within a week of the ceremony). The students then return to their seats. The graduates and their guests will listen to speeches from the President and the Programme Directors and there will be music entertainment.

The ceremony lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes

Invitation to the ceremony

Invitations are sent out by email in April and November. Students register via the link in the invitation.
