Huichen - Master's in Biomedicine

My name is Huichen Shu, and I am a first-year student on the Master's Programme in Biomedicine. I am one of two Chinese social media managers.

I was born in China and finished my bachelor's degree there. I spent about four years in the Laboratory of Neurobiology and was dedicated to studying neurodegenerative diseases. I came to KI because its diverse and professional research environment attracted me. I was looking for more possible research directions from KI's unique close clinical-laboratory linkage model. The opportunity to be mentored by a professional is unparalleled. At the same time, I wanted to break away from the living and research environment I had lived in for so long and experience a more diverse way of thinking.

I don't have a lot of luck, and often get into tricky situations. Still, I always manage to solve it in the end! If you struggle with something, perhaps I have a solution. I am very passionate about sharing my life and answering people's questions.

I am an indoor person who enjoys staying in my room over the holidays. But also interested in fika and travelling. I am saving up to get a cat.
