Internship opportunities for students from Ukraine within Erasmus+
Karolinska Institutet is happy to announce internship opportunities for students from Ukraine!
Erasmus+ traineeships are traineeships that are at least 2 months long and will in this case be carried out in a research group at Karolinska Institutet. If accepted, you will receive a stipend of around 11000 SEK per month. 70% will be paid out at the start of your traineeship, the remainder will be paid out upon completion of the traineeship. If you do not complete the traineeship you will have to reimburse the whole amount. Please be aware that by accepting this stipend you will not be entitled to keep the daily allowance given to you by Migrationsverket during your traineeship.
Who can apply?
Eligible to apply are students from Ukraine who are in Sweden, came to Sweden on or after 24 February 2022, and are covered by the Temporary Protection Directive, and who at the time of the displacement were enrolled at a Ukrainian higher education institution, or a recent graduate from a Ukrainian higher institution (you graduated in the 12 month period preceding your escape. You must start your traineeship before 12 months have passed since your graduation). All traineeships require at least level B2 in English or equivalent (no proof required, but you may be interviewed by your potential supervisor).
How do I apply?
You can apply for up to 3 options, in order of interest. The research groups you apply to will make the decisions and may ask for more documentation from your part and/or decide to interview you. Also note that you will not become registered as a student at Karolinska Institutet and no credits will be awarded. The application form and a list of available traineeships can be found at the bottom of this page.
We can unfortunately not help you with housing.
The application form and the required documents should be sent by email to: email@example.com no later than 1 October 2022. Please write 2-3313/2022 in the subject line when you submit.
You can sign the application electronically, or print it out and sign it by hand. If you sign by hand, you can then scan it in or take a picture of it.
