My name is Martin, and I’m 27 years old. I'm currently enrolled in the Master's Programme in Health Informatics, jointly offered by Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University. I’m deeply passionate about data science and aspire to leverage its potential to enhance the well-being of humanity. It was during a Google search that I stumbled upon the health informatics programme at Karolinska Institutet, and when I learned more, I found myself captivated by the subject. Consequently, I made the decision to apply, a choice that has proven to be one of the most rewarding decisions I've made to date.

Adjusting to the Swedish culture has been a unique experience for me, as it differs from what I’m accustomed to. However, I have already had several positive encounters here.

The master's programme has also offered me numerous opportunities to establish valuable networks and broaden my perspective. This has been accomplished by inviting alumni, governmental entities, and startups to provide insights through talks and presentations regarding potential career pathways, the health informatics industry, and their personal journeys within the programme.

As a fun side note, prior to pursuing my master's in health informatics, I aspired to be a curator and an artist specializing in Chinese art.
