For students attending the Master's Programme in Nutrition Science Study abroad

In the field of Nutrition Science, there is an opportunity for you to spend part of your training abroad. Doing your degree project in another country is a unique experience compared to studying in Sweden. To have the opportunity to experience another culture from the inside is an interesting, developmental and instructive process.

Studying abroad means not only academic development, but it also provides insights and experiences that you will profit from in your future life both professionally and personally. You will probably make lifelong friends and many other interesting contacts. To study abroad you need to be flexible and have a capacity for initiative.

Here are the different possibilities for studying abroad in connection to the Master’s Programme in Nutrition Science. More detailed information is given below.

  •  You can look for a degree project at Deakin University, our partner university for the programme (exchange). Then you can get some support in finding a supervisor and a project.

  • You can do your degree project somewhere else abroad by finding a possible supervisor or project yourself and then apply for a scholarship (for example Erasmus+ traineeship within Europe or MFS in a developing country)

External Funds

If you will be collecting data for your Master's thesis at a university that is not on the partner university list, you might consider applying for external funds. Please note that most of the information is in Swedish.
