For students attending the course Survival analysis with applications in medicine (7.5 credits) course code 5BD001
The course aims to equip the student with an understanding of fundamental concepts in survival analysis (censoring, truncation, timescales, and the hazard and survival functions) and methods for modelling time-to-event (survival) data, including a rigorous statistical formulation of the likelihoods and partial likelihoods, along with the competence, skills, and judgement to appropriately apply such methods in biomedical research.

The course will take place between January 20 - March 25, 2025.
Approximately 2 weeks before the course starts, students with a course spot will receive an invitation to the learning platform Canvas. In Canvas, you will find all the information and materials needed to prepare for the course. All communication from the course administration will take place in Canvas.
