The Interprofessional Learning Day (IPL day)
The Interprofessional Learning Day (IPL day) is a joint interprofessional day for all the first-year students at KI. It is an important part of the KI's action plan for IPL and it is considered to be part of the students' professional development. However, the IPL day is not necessarily part of the specific course you are taking at the date of the IPL day.
This joint day is compulsory for all first-year students.

About the IPL day
In order to facilitate an early start to Interprofessional Learning, IPL, KI offers all first-year students in an undergraduate programme a joint Interprofessional day.
The aim is to early on in your education programme put a focus on different views of health and illustrate the purpose of interprofessional cooperation.
Why IPL?
Within health and medical care, you work in teams with different professions to achieve safe and qualitative care. Interprofessional learning, IPL, occurs when two or more professions learn about, from and with each other in order to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes.
Engaging in IPL during your studies is an evident strategy at KI, and students at KI participate in interprofessional learning activities together with students from other study programmes.
