What inspired you to study Public Health Sciences?

"My research in Human Nutrition and my experience with community nutrition made me realize that chronic diseases such as diabetes and obesity require prevention beyond individual-level interventions. This inspired me to focus on population-level health."

How do you hope to make a difference through your education?

"I want to translate nutrition research into effective public health practice. My goal is to help reduce the burden of chronic diseases by designing and implementing population-level prevention strategies."

How has your research shaped your goals?

"My research on diet-related non-communicable diseases has deepened my interest in public health. It showed me the importance of turning scientific evidence into prevention strategies, health promotion and policy-relevant interventions."
