"My goal is to contribute to stronger and more equitable health systems in Ethiopia and beyond. I hope to support evidence-based policymaking, strengthen healthcare management and improve the efficiency of health services."

How has your background shaped your ambitions?

"Working as both a physician and a health service quality leader has given me perspectives from both clinical care and management. These experiences showed me that improving health outcomes requires not only clinical expertise, but also effective leadership, sound policy and efficient management."
