Dance for health

Would you like to try a new way to reduce stress and increase your well-being? Discover the joy and power of "Dance for Health," a course designed for you who may not be used to dancing but are curious about how movement and dance can improve your well-being.

Dance for Health is a research-based intervention developed by Anna Duberg with the aim of enhancing mental health.

Why Participate?

  • Sense of community. Explore dance and movement in a socially inclusive environment together with others.
  • Joy of movement without demands. Connect with positive emotions and take a break from negative thoughts and worries, without the pressure to perform.
  • Physical activity. Integrate more movement into your daily life and improve your physical well-being.

  • Reduce stress. Each session includes elements of mindfulness and ends with relaxation.

The group accommodates 15 participants.

Dates for the autumn term: 8 sessions on Tuesdays starting from October 15th 

Time: 4:30 PM – 5:45 PM 

Location: Health Hub’s studio “MIND,” Campus Flemingsberg, Alfred Nobels Allé 23.
