Compulsory teaching

Compulsory course components

Teaching that cannot be obtained through any other means is compulsory. The compulsory components of a course are given in the syllabus.

Making up missed components

The examiner decides whether and how you as a student are able to compensate for missed compulsory components. However, the possibility of this must be stated in the syllabus. Where it also should be stated what the consequences can be if you miss compulsory components.

Students that are also elected representative at KI are under obligation to attend the meetings convened by KI and must therefore be given the opportunity to compensate for any compulsory course components they might therefore miss.

Students acting as a mentor on an induction programme may be absent from the course as much as is necessary and, again, are entitled to compensate for any compulsory components they might therefore miss.
