Possibilities for studying abroad
Here are the different possibilities for studying abroad during semester 3 and/or 4 on the Master’s Programme in Nutrition Science. More detailed information is given below.
- You can apply for exchange studies at Wageningen University and Research (WUR), The Netherlands, during the autumn semester. They have a large number of elective courses.
- You can apply for exchange studies at Deakin University, Australia. This option is available for a 60 credits degree project.
- You can do your degree project (30, 45 or 60 ECTS) elsewhere abroad, by finding a possible supervisor and project yourself. Depending on where the project is done, it may be possible to apply for a scholarship, for example Erasmus+ traineeship within Europe.
- You can do a traineeship course or project course abroad, by finding a possible place and supervisor yourself. Depending on where the course is done, it may be possible to apply for a scholarship, for example Erasmus+ traineeship within Europe. See elective courses.
Deakin University, Australia
At the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at Deakin University you have the opportunity to do your degree project (30, 45 or 60 ECTS credits) within the area of nutrition sciences.
The school hosts the Institute for Physical Activity and Nutrition (IPAN) and use the IPAN website as a guide when looking into possible research areas.
Wageningen University & Research (WUR), The Netherlands
At WUR you can take elective courses during the autumn semester. You can choose among all courses offered for exchange students, your choices are not restricted to the Master’s Programme in Nutrition and Health.
