The overall aim of this course is to introduce students to the process of entrepreneurship applied in the biomedical context. Entrepreneurship will be used as a method for problem-solving to create impact from science-based knowledge.
Syllabus
About the course
The assignments in the course require the student to use critical thinking and analysis and to incorporate previous knowledge and experiences. The student will have to search for and use relevant scientific literature and other data to back up their reasoning in the project assignment. Both global and ethical perspectives of the biomedical field will be covered. Lectures and seminars will be complemented with self-studies of literature and a reflective exercise. A project will run in parallel throughout the course and result in a presentation of the results.
