In this course you will be introduced to the opportunities and challenges in using qualitative methods in public health. During five weeks, you are introduced to the most popular data collection methods such as individual interviews, focus group discussions and observations. Different approaches to qualitative analysis will be introduced. To get a sense of what it means to be a qualitative researcher you will conduct your own interviews and observations.
