Paying your tuition fees
If you are required to pay a tuition fee, you will receive an invoice by e-mail from Karolinska Institutet. The invoice must be paid in advance of the coming semester.
You pay the tuition fee in instalments prior to the start of each semester. Instalments are due on May 20 for the autumn semester and on December 10 for the spring semester.

Waiting for a reply on a scholarship application?
If you are having difficulties paying the first instalment of your tuition fee on time because you are waiting for a reply on a scholarship application, send an email explaining your situation to firstname.lastname@example.org
How to pay
When you have received your invoice by e-mail from Karolinska Institutet, you can pay the tuition fee through bank transfer or online using your credit card. The invoice contains more specific information about methods of payment and conditions of payments.
If you are paying by bank transfer, make sure to include your name and your application number in the message field, so we can confirm who the payment is for.
Scholarships and fees
Students that receive a scholarship from the Swedish Institute do not have to pay tuition fees. The fee is included in the scholarship and it is paid directly to Karolinska Institutet by the Swedish Institute. Students who receive a scholarship from Karolinska Institutet will be informed separately about the procedure that apply for them.
