The course serves to provide knowledge about research processes related to research in the fields of physiology and pharmacology. The course will deepen the student's understanding of integrated physiology and pharmacology, and of the connections from molecule and cell to the patient. Furthermore, the goal is to provide the students with a broad knowledge in experimental methodology and relevant model systems in translational physiology and pharmacology.

About the course

The course is held on campus with full-time teaching (100%). Full-time teaching corresponds to 40 hours of study per week.

The course starts on February 23, 2026 and runs for 10 weeks. 

Discontinuation of the course

The course is offered for the last time in the autumn spring of 2026 and will then be discontinued. Examination according to this syllabus will be possible until and including the spring semester of 2027 for students who have not completed the course with a passing grade. To participate and make up for missed components, re-registration for the relevant course and registration for the specific session are required.
