International student? Keep your access to Ladok after your studies.
Are you an international student without a Swedish personal identity number, or are you planning to leave Sweden? Add an alternative login method to your Ladok account now.
Since 17 June 2026, you can add an alternative login method in Ladok before your student account is closed. Your student account is closed 12 months after you complete your last course. Once your student account has been closed, you can no longer use it to log in to Ladok. You may still need access to Ladok, for example to download certificates and degree certificates or to apply for a degree or credit transfer.
By adding an alternative login method while your student account is still active, you can continue to log in to Ladok even after your student account has been closed.
Make sure to add the alternative login method before your student account expires.

If you are a Swedish student, you can instead log in to Ladok using BankID or Freja eID+ without adding an alternative login method. Read more about Ladok for alumni.
