For students attending the course Molecular Medicine - Cardiometabolic and Infectious Diseases (15 hp) course code 1BI048
The course focuses on the molecular, cellular and physiological mechanisms, pathology, diagnosis and treatment of common cardiometabolic and infectious diseases, including global aspects. Relevant molecular biology technologies used within translational research in the field of these diseases are reviewed.
About the course
The course is held on campus with full-time teaching (100%) and lasts for 11 weeks. Full-time teaching corresponds to 40 hours of study per week.
The course starts on Monday 31st October 2022 and runs until Friday 13th January 2023. The first day of the Christmas self-study period is Thursday 22nd December and the last day is Sunday 8th January 2023. The roll call is on Monday 31st October, 9:30 at Atrim, Solna campus. The final examination is planned on Jan. 10, 2023 (09:00-13:00) in the form of digital exam at Skrivsalen-BZ, KI Solna Campus.
Re-exam for the HT22 students or earlier will be on March 7th (14:15-18:15, Space) and June 13th, 2023 (14:15-18:15 Enter) at KI Solna Campus. Registration in Ladok is necessary.
