The course focuses on the molecular, cellular and physiological mechanisms, pathology, diagnosis and treatment of common cardiometabolic and infectious diseases, including global aspects. Relevant molecular biology technologies used within translational research in the field of these diseases are reviewed.

About the course
The course is held on campus with full-time teaching (100%) and lasts for 11 weeks. Full-time teaching corresponds to 40 hours of study per week.
The course starts on Monday 30th October 2023 and runs until Friday 12th January 2024. The first day of the Christmas self-study period is Friday 22nd December and the last day is Sunday 7th January 2024. The roll call is on Monday 30th October, 09:30 - 12:00, at Wangari, KI Solna campus. The final examination is planned on Jan. 11, 2024 (14:15 - 18:15) in the form of digital exam at Skrivsal BZ, KI Solna Campus. Both current student and those who wish for take re-exam need to register yourself in Ladok which will be open in December.
