Regarding Covid-19

Regarding Covid-19, it is no longer classified as a public and socially dangerous disease in Sweden and the Public Health Agency has decided to remove most measures against the virus. The latest information with the measures we are currently taking can be found on our Covid-19 information page. There is also useful information in our Covid-19 FAQ for newly admitted degree students.

Activate your student account

Before you can register to your courses you need to activate your student account. An active student account is necessary for studies at KI! It gives you access to a range of services, such as e-mail, student computers, remote access to library resources, the learning platform Canvas and the university's wireless network. If this is the first time you are studying at KI, you must activate your account according to the instructions under the headline “Activation code” at our Student Account web page. As soon as you are sure that you will be able to come to KI and study, you can activate the account. You can activate your account from August 3rd, 2022.

An activation code has been/will be sent to your e-mail in June 2022 (to the same e-mail address that you used when you applied for the programme), so check your spam/promotion folder if you have not received it. If you cannot find your activation code, contact for guidance. If you already have a Swedish National registration number, you can see more options at the Student Account Web page.

If you have previously studied at KI, you will continue to use the same student account as before, but you might need to re-activate it or change the password.

Register for courses and the programme

Once you have activated your student account, you can register for the first course of the programme.

The registration will be open between August 15th  and August 31st, 2022. If you fail to register within this period and don't show up for the roll-call, we will consider your study place declined and offer it to a waitlisted applicant.

Once you are registered, you are officially considered a student and can participate in course activities and teaching. Note that even if you have registered, you must still participate in the mandatory roll call on the first day of each course on the programme.

In Ladok you can register to your courses, print out study certificates and apply for your certificate for your completed education.
