Hey everyone! I’m Veronika – a German-Czech-mix coming from my beautiful home by choice Vienna, Austria. I’m a physiotherapist with a special interest in Mental Health, politics, philosophy, society … well, many things! That’s exactly why I applied to study Public Health Sciences at KI. The programme combines all my interests and at the same time delivers me with interesting research opportunities and a unique international community.

I enjoy movement a lot – in whatever way. Strength training, climbing, dancing, running, swimming … count me in! Yet, balance is the key – so never skip daily fika time with a nice drink and Kardemummabullar (prefer these to cinnamon!).

I’m an open-minded and positive person, who loves to meet new people. However, it gets me even more excited when it’s time to move from shallow conversations to deep talk!

I’m very much looking forward to these 2 years of my Master’s programme in Stockholm – meeting many new lovely people, broadening my horizons, discovering new things every day, growing personally and professionally and enjoying Sweden’s beautiful nature and culture!
