Your role as a digital ambassador
As a digital ambassador your role is to share your everyday student experience with prospective students on our blog or in our social media channels.
You will share an authentic and honest perspective on what student life at KI is like, give useful tips, and handle expectations of what it’s like to study here.
There is also the opportunity for extra jobs such as campus tours, giving presentations to groups, and participating in webinars representing your programme.
Being a digital ambassador is:
- A flexible extra job
- A merit on your CV
- An opportunity to meet and network with students from across KI’s global programmes
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for creative, social and driven students from a variety of backgrounds, ages and from mixed nationalities. You don’t have to be a native English speaker, just good at communicating in English. You need to be a good storyteller, be service minded, and enjoy teamwork.
Expectations
We expect all digital ambassadors to:
- Attend our digital ambassador training (3-4 October 2026, 9 hours.)
- Attend our monthly lunch meetings plus personal/team meetings (1-2 h per month.)
- Answer questions from prospective students in comments, DMs and email.
- Engage in team activities and occasional training sessions.
- Be open to taking on extra jobs, such as campus tours, or to represent your programme in webinars.
Payment
All roles are paid 2,250 SEK per month (Oct-May) before taxes (approximately 15 h/month).
Extra jobs are paid on top of your regular remuneration.
The Digital Ambassador role is granted on a one-year basis and may be renewed.
Training
We offer all new ambassadors an introduction where you will get to know the team, receive training in working with social media, creating content, answering questions and whatever else you need to know.
This year's training is scheduled for the weekend 3-4 October 2026.
We also arrange an inspiration/training session in February, together with occasional brainstorming workshops throughout the year.
Open positions 2026
For the coming year we are looking to fill the following positions.
2 bloggers for the Student Blog
You will write 2 blog posts per month with a focus on your life as a student at KI. You will also do occasional take-overs in stories on Instagram. There is the opportunity to participate in other activities on Instagram too.
Skills: You need to be interested in writing, storytelling, and taking photos. Experience from blogging and interest in reading blogs yourself is a plus but not a must. Feeling comfortable showing in social media is also a plus.
4 students for our Instagram team
You will post 2 reels per month on our Instagram account @kistudents. You can also do feed-posts, but focus is on reels. You will also do take-overs and Q&As in stories every six weeks and participate in lives.
You will share the responsibility of planning content and answering questions in DMs and comments with the rest of the team.
Skills: You have an Instagram or TikTok account where you enjoy creating content. You need to enjoy or be interested in shooting and editing videos and be comfortable featuring yourself in the content. An interest in photography is a plus.
Application requirements
- Upload a brief CV with relevant experience of max. 2 pages.
- Write a motivational letter of max 2 300 characters incl. spaces in the assigned form (no upload option.) Be yourself! We are looking for authentic and honest voices.
- Rank your roles of interest if you are applying for more than one role.
- To be considered for the Instagram role, you must submit a work sample.
You don't need to submit any additional work samples, but we will consider your writing skills and originality in the personal letter.
Include at least:
- 1 reel
- 1 set of stories
- 1 feed post in carousel format
The content should be made for this application, giving us an example of content you could post on our account as a digital ambassador. What content were you looking for as a prospective student? There’s no right or wrong.
If you aren’t yet in Sweden, it’s fine to use your current setting.
We are looking at idea, creativity, editing and quality more than exactly where you are.
Be sure to:
- Add an engaging title and captions to your reel.
- Add captions to your carousel post.
- Feature yourself in the content.
How to share the work sample with us
You can either:
- Share links to your own account (this needs to be public), or
- Create a new, public account if you don’t want to share content from your private account.
If you share from your own account, please share links directly to the content so that we can find the content you would like us to review.
Links to your work samples should be listed clearly in your CV. Be sure to write out the links just in case we can't click on them.
How to apply
Apply in our recruitment system Varbi no later than Sun 23 August 2026.
We do not accept any applications or documents per email.
Selection & contact
We will interview a selection of applicants during September.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send an email. We are out of the office for holidays 29 June-31 July and will not be able to answer questions during this time.
We look forward to receiving your application!
