Mohan – Master’s in Public Health Sciences

Hi, I’m Mohan from China. My hometown is known as the Spring City, where it's spring all year round. Because of the amazing life at KI, I'm also looking forward to experiencing Stockholm's winter.

I studied public health for my bachelor’s, and my main research interest is public mental health. I want a life like a kaleidoscope that can bring both joy and profound meaning that benefits others.

KI is like an amusement park of ideas, with many scholars conducting research in fields I am interested in, and peers building a diverse, cross-cultural working environment. There are always many adventures at KI. I’ll never forget every night I have spent chasing the Northern Lights with friends. I’m also learning about Sweden's famous work-life balance.

I’m grateful to my friends for inviting me to outdoor activities in open spaces, but as a modern couch potato, I usually relax by turning on my electronic devices. If it’s my turn to organize leisure activities, I’d choose exhibitions, live music events, or stand-up comedy performances — these activities help me to stay creative and curious.
