Coming from the land of gyro and beautiful beaches (hint: Greece), my name is Ann Marie and I’m a student in the Master's Programme in Nutrition Science at KI Campus Flemingsberg.

I’m thrilled to be at KI. Diving deeper into the field of nutrition at such a prestigious institution, while also building meaningful connections and lasting friendships along the way. While living in Stockholm, I look forward to trying Swedish cuisine and finding the best meatballs in the entire city. What can I say, I have always been a foodie.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, powerlifting, going to raves, travelling, spending time with my friends, and trying new things, like kickboxing.

In the future, I see myself working in non-profit organisations such as the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) or ATNi (Access to Nutrition Initiative) which combine nutrition, policymaking, and food systems. However, no matter where my career path takes me, I will always prioritise helping others and having a satisfactory work-life balance.
