Hi! My name is Chu, and I am studying for a Master’s in Global Health at KI.

Before coming to KI, I spent about ten years in the media industry as a journalist and editor at various organisations, including news agencies, an online community for physicians, and a scientific reporting platform. I continue to write as a freelancer, with the dream of publishing a book one day. So if you're considering applying to KI after a few years in the workforce, if you come from a non-medical/biomedical background but want to apply to KI anyway, or if you're seeking to experience an academic environment with fellow students from over 20 different countries, I would definitely recommend KI.

By drawing from my experience, I hope to contribute to the KI Chinese community and support prospective students as the Chinese Social Media Manager for KI’s Digital Ambassador Team. A fun (but hopefully never-to-be-repeated) fact about me is that I once accidentally blew a hole in my ceiling while trying to make espresso by heating it under pressure. Yes, I’m a coffee enthusiast, and also a cat and dog person.
